Born in 1990, Lucy Wood had a fascination with the chilling and macabre from an early age. The very first books she chose to read herself were the famed “Goosebumps” books, a series of tales of the horrible and mysterious. This was the beginning of her love of dark literature. Throughout her school life Lucy was highly praised by her English teachers for being an excellent writer and very creative. As Lucy was an only child she often wrote poetry and short stories to occupy herself, this eventually lead to the creation of her first published novel when she was nineteen.
