Alex Halpern is just 16 years old and lives in Kent, where he attends Rochester Independent College. He lives with his parents, two younger brothers and his very nutty dog. He has always been a big fan of the horror genre and therefore chose this for ‘House of Wolves’, his first novel.

Part of the original idea of ‘House of Wolves’ was inspired by ideas originating from other horror stories and various activities and experiences he has encountered. A lot of his inspiration also comes from music which he enjoys, of which often the lyrics, style and themes have triggered ideas for future work.
