Category Summary
Shooty Dog Thing was born from a train journey in 2006, when Paul grabbed a random book off the shelf to read half a second before rushing out the door. It was Paul Cornell’s Licence Denied. His first read of the fanzine collection in 1997 led to the fanzine Eye of Orion, and this second inspired the Shooty fanzine, which had a ten issue run from March 2007 to June 2009 and eventually led to the book you’re holding now. Along with Jon Arnold, he’s the editor of the annual series of Shooty Dog Thing books from Hirst Publishing.
